Every series is loaded automatically from official releases. Values are kept exactly as published; only the structure is normalised — unit, frequency and reference period.

  • Bank of Japan

    Interest rates, money, bank lending and deposits, corporate goods and services prices, the balance of payments, flow of funds and the Tankan survey, taken from the Time-Series Data Search API.

  • Statistics Bureau of Japan (e-Stat)

    Consumer prices, the labour force survey, household spending, population, housing starts and other headline indicators from the Statistics Dashboard.

  • Cabinet Office (ESRI)

    Quarterly GDP by expenditure component, the Economy Watchers Survey and the Consumer Confidence Survey.

  • Ministry of Finance and Japan Customs
