About this data

The expansion of renewable electricity in Germany from auction to installed base. Installed capacity by source from Fraunhofer ISE's energy-charts - solar photovoltaics as DC module and AC inverter capacity, onshore and offshore wind, biomass and grid battery storage, in GW. Monthly net additions by technology from the Federal Network Agency's Market Master Data Register, in MW, where negative biomass values are genuine net closures. And the results of the Federal Network Agency's tender rounds for rooftop solar, ground-mounted solar and onshore wind: capacity tendered, bid and awarded, bids excluded, the maximum bid price and the capacity-weighted average award price, each dated to the month of the bid deadline. Awards are not yet installed capacity.
