Gross value added by ten industry groups (NACE Rev.2) for the euro area and the EU on a quarterly basis at 2020 constant prices, seasonally and working-day adjusted. This table illustrates growth by sector rather than by expenditure component: manufacturing is the most cyclically volatile group and the area where the euro area has most clearly lost momentum since 2022, while public services (public administration, education, and health) are virtually acyclical and thus act as a shock absorber.
