About this data
Key targets of the socio-economic development plan determined annually by the National Assembly, alongside the state budget deficit (estimates resolution) and the State Bank of Vietnam's (SBV) credit growth orientation; each target is accompanied by actual figures for comparison. Convention: targets expressed as a range "X–Y" or "from X and above" record the lower bound X; "under X" records X; mid-term adjusted targets are recorded according to the latest resolution (the year 2025 follows Resolution 192/2025/QH15). Note on time-series comparisons: the proportion of communes meeting new-style rural standards in 2026 is calculated based on the 2026–2030 national set of criteria and is therefore not comparable with previous years; actual credit growth figures are taken from the National Statistics Office's press releases, typically finalized around December 20–21 and thus lower than the SBV's full-year figures.
